FOLF Thank you!16 December 2019 (by Helen Fitzpatrick (admin)) |
The grand total raised from all our amazing volunteers time and effort is £4,364! Plus, £350 charity donation from the toy stall to 'Save the Children' and 'Street Child'.
A HUGE thank you to all the parents, teachers, staff and children who ran stalls, made food, baked cakes and biscuits, made homemade crafts, donated prizes, took photos, sang carols, ran the tombola, iced and sprinkled biscuits, sold Christmas trees, painted faces and nails, sold raffle tickets, applied beautiful henna, ran the craft room, sold second hand toys and school uniform, ran the Santa's grotto, cycled on Rudolf's cargo bike, guessed the name of the teddy, the amazing decorations, toasted marshmallows on the fire, bashed Santa off his chimney, took penalties against Santa, trashed the cans at trash can alley or knocked a coconut off at the coconut shy or made countless cups of tea and coffee plus so much more!
Special thanks to the raffle team and all their efforts with making it one of the best we've seen and of course to all those that donated.
Another huge appreciation to Meg and Daz for going above and beyond with gazebos and decor outside this year, it really made the biggest difference.
We did our best to be low waste this year so a big thank you to those doing the less glam job of doing the right thing and doing the washing up shifts for the food stalls.
And of course if you came and spent your well earnt pennies on lots of stuff you don't want or need thank YOU the most. Merry Christmas
