Financial Information
PE and Sport Funding
The government is providing additional PE & Sport funding to sustain and improve the provision for physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding- provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport– must be used for additional funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but school have the freedom to choose how they do this. At London Fields Primary School, we are committed to ensuring our children understand the importance of being active, having a healthy lifestyle and enjoy sports and games activities. Pupil Premium Funding
The Pupil Premium funding is additional funding from the government designed to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. The Funding is allocated to schools for children from Reception to Year 11 who have registered for Free School Meals in the last six years.
Our Pupil Premium Strategy outlines how we intent to spend the funding in this academic year and states the outcomes for disadvantaged pupils from the last academic year. At London Fields Primary School, we believe that the development of an effective pupil premium strategy should be cyclical and considered an integral part of existing school development planning, including ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
