Orienteering in Year 616 October 2019 (by Lizzie Bulley (lbulley)) |
The results are in!
As part of their PE lessons, Kay Class took part in three orienteering sessions this half term. They visited Haggerston Park, London Fields Park and finally Wick Woodland.
When visiting Wick Woodland, the children were very excited to be in a real wood and didn't realise how close they lived to woods especially being in London! The children were really challenged to use their Geography fieldwork skills and follow the map to find the posts.
All of Kay Class worked so hard however, our top scorers coming in at an amazing 34th and 35th out of 178 children were Amari and Milo! Well done to all of Kay Class!
