We discussed the concept of freedom, and whether it was always a good thing to have freedom?
We were intrigued by the notion of freedom and what it really meant. If we had freedom to do anything, would that be a good thing? Or, is the very nature of freedom linked with the concept of responsibility? Are freedom and responsibility inextricably linked? We looked at some books and some poems to help our enquiry. Our enquiry also made us question why we do things; what is our motive? Do we only do the right thing because we are being watched, or we will be rewarded, or do we do the right thing because it is the right thing to do - whether anyone notices, or not.
