Fun in Farnham17 September 2019 (by Helen Fitzpatrick (admin)) |
Year 5 had an absolute blast on their camping trip!
We went to Farham in Hampshire and camped out in tents for one night. We stroked animals at the mobile farm, paddled in the stream, sketched the house, made flower art with a mallet, made elder-bead jewellery, Tudor potions, learned a tutor dances, had a talk from a bat expert, caught and counted the moth population, played games in the meadow, ate fish and chips in newspaper and toasted marshmallows on a campfire! We even had the Mayoress of Farnham judge our scarecrow competition. It was a fun-filled two days and we found it hard to leave!
