Happy Retirement!
This evening, the whole team gathered to wish Bimla a very happy retirement! We had tea and cake, and gave her a special send off to thank her for the many, many years of service at London Fields.
Bimla has worked across lots of year groups over the years and has supported so many children, teachers and families during this time. We would like to thank her specifically for her role as a KS1 phonics tutor. Bimla's expertise in this area has supported many children to learn to read confidently and in turn develop a love of reading.
Bimla has also been a dear friend to us all and we will miss her greatly as she brings so much support and warmth to us all.
Thank you Bimla for everything that you have done. We can't thank you enough for all your hard work over the years. You have been an absolute London Fields Legend.

(Fortunately, Bimla will continue to lead Cooking Club so we will get to see her every Friday evening for a little longer!)
