This week in Nursery we have been learning all about Road Safety.

Through role play, small world activities and practical games, the children explored how to stay safe near roads using the key message:

Stop, Look, Listen and Think!

The children practiced crossing at zebra crossings, waiting for the green light, and helping toy pedestrians and cars move safely around our small world city. This has helped them build awareness of real-life situations and understand the importance of staying safe when walking with adults.

Alongside our Road Safety activities, the children were also busy in Maths learning about weight. Using balance scales, they explored and compared objects to find out which were heavy and which were light. They predicted, tested, and sorted different items, developing mathematical language and early investigation skills in a playful, hands-on way.

It has been a fantastic week full of meaningful learning, problem solving, and real-world understanding.
