Reception children enjoy the new Sensory Play Space!31 October 2025 (by Natalie (nski)) |
The Reception children have been busy exploring our new sensory playground as part of their afternoon provision. The space offers a mix of sensory experiences, climbing opportunities, and quiet areas for rest and reflection.
The children have loved testing out the different textures, climbing and balancing on the equipment, and using their imagination in play. It's been lovely to see them work together, share ideas, and challenge themselves while having fun.
The quieter corners of the play space also give the children the chance to slow down and enjoy a moment to themselves. This balance between active play and calm, reflective time supports their overall development in Reception, helping them grow in confidence and independence.
We're pleased to see how much the children are enjoying this space, and we look forward to watching their play and learning continue to flourish.
