Exploring Biomes in Year 614 March 2025 (by cgallagher) |
Building Our Oracy Skills
In our recent Geography lesson, we worked in pairs to compare biomes, discussing things like why agriculture thrives in most biomes except the tundra and how animals adapt to different environments. This task helped us build our oracy skills as we took part in exploratory talk: sharing ideas, asking questions, and building on each other’s thoughts.
It was great to see us all actively listening and working together to articulate how different biomes compare to one another. This not only helped us understand biomes better but also boosted our confidence in communicating and collaborating. Well done, everyone!
