For our Geography topic this term, we have been 'Mapping the World'. We retrieved our previously taught knowledge about a compass rose and recalled the four points that we learned in previous Geography topics. Using keys, we then used compass points to geographically communicate where certain things are on a map. We ended our Geography topic as young geographers by learning about the way in which the world is split into sections - Ask us where the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere and the equator is located on a globe.
