Our PE topic this term is Net and Wall! So far we have learned how to practice our accuracy skills using tennis balls, which involved bouncing the balls with the aim of getting the ball to bounce into hoops. We played a game in pairs, where we had to use our underarm throwing skills to try and get the ball to bounce and hit some cones as targets! We also made a line with cones to act as a net - our challenge was to bounce the ball over the cones without the ball touching them. We have been very thoughtful in our PE lessons and reminded ourselves of the importance of cheering and supporting our classmates that were having their turn - this way, we are all positively taking on new challenges in PE! In our PSHE lessons last term, we learned something similar during our topic on friendships, where we learned that supporting and helping our friends / classmates would make us a very good friend and would also help form new friendships.
