Our Big Question for RE this year is 'What can we learn from special stories? To work towards answering our question, our topic this term was to learn why different books are special for different people. Throughout the topic, we explored different holy texts / books and learned why they are special to certain religious groups, and how they treat them. The religions we looked at included Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism! It was very interesting to learn that different religions had similar, yet different ways of treating their special books. We ended our topic by creating our very own special books - Our special book included values and morals that are important to us whether we are religious or not!
