Year 1 musicians bring Autumn to life.
In Year 1, we have been learning about the composer Vivaldi and the way in which he used string instruments to create the sound of the different seasons in his compositions. We took inspiration from Vivaldi and used tuned and untuned percussion instruments to compose the sound of Autumn. The children shared that "scratching, scraping, shaking and hitting instruments helped us to make different sounds and this reminded us of stormy clouds and falling leaves." The Year One musicians enjoyed performing their Autumn compositions too!
