This week the children have noticed some new changes in the leaves of one of our trees! The leaves have been slowly changing their colour from green to yellow and red. Every day the children check the ground to see how many leaves have fallen to the ground. Some of the fallen leaves have already been used to make autumn natural faces (we'll share the pictures soon!)

The children also noticed that there aren't as many snails around during the cold days and have found and inspected many big spiders which have suddenly appeared in the corners of our mud kitchen (but not to worry, they are harmless!). This is a sure sign that winter is coming. We love being able to observe the natural world around us in our own playground!
