This week the children in Nursery learnt more about the Zones of Regulation.
We focused on one colour each day using visuals and hand held mirrors to model each emotion (e.g big smiles, furrowed brows! The children took it in turn to demonstrate different emotions and have their friends and teachers name the emotions they were expressing. The children then made links between these emotions they displayed and the coloured zones.
There was lots of talk about what feelings are and that it's ok to experience a range of emotions in the day.
Everyone ended the week in the Green Zone! Well done Nursery!
