Year 1 Phonics
Year 1 has made an excellent start in continuing their Phonics journey from Reception. We are learning to Fred Talk in our heads when we come across an unknown word in our storybooks to not disrupt the flow of our reading. We are also learning to recognize different punctuation and understand their purpose such as exclamation marks, we love putting power in our voice to read those sentences!
