Earlier in the school year, we had issues where there had been a couple of near misses with adults riding their bikes on the pavements, near the main gates on both sides. Our Junior Road Safety Officers designed a poster to promote safety outside of the school gates, which was blogged and also put up outside of the school - The message was for adults to dismount from their bikes whilst on the pavements to avoid collision and accidents.

This project had been acknowledged by the JRSO Hackney leads and they have awarded us with an honorable mention titled 'Project of the Year - Considerate Cycling'.

A huge well done to our Year Five Junior Road Safety Officers for winning us this award - You all look very proud with that trophy (as you should be!).
