Reception took part in an outdoor learning workshop led by the team from the Garden Classroom, as part of our school’s sustainability project. The children walked safely to Haggerston Park and explored the natural world through art and craft, nature play and sensory activities. They took part in 3 guided activities: Mud kitchen, Alfie’s shop (role playing using natural materials) and painting station.
All children made a nature crown with the gathered natural materials and ended the session with a song.
