Children in Nursery to Year Six take to the playground to perfrom.
As always, the end of the term brings with it our wonderful playground performances. This term, inspired by Spanish Day, we have been learning the Mexican folk song ‘Chocolate Molinillo’. Not only was this a good opportunity for us to apply our Spanish knowledge, but we also extended our understanding of folk music (a genre explored during music assemblies back in the Autumn term). All children, from Nursery to Year Six, took part in performances, telling the story of the runaway chocolate whisk. What a treat this was for all to enjoy!
