Throughout our RE topic this term, we (year two) have been learning about why Christians celebrate Jesus' resurrection at Easter. For our final lesson of the topic, we explored symbols and images relating to new life and resurrection. We applied this knowledge by taking on the task to design and create Easter cards using relevant symbols and imagery. We referred back to our D&T topic from year one, where we had to design, make and evaluate a pop-up book, using our knowledge on sliders and levers. We used our technical and practical knowledge on sliders, and applied these skills when making our Easter card designs!
