On top of being all dressed up as our favourite book characters for World Book Day this year, Year Three were lucky enough to take part in a dance workshop inspired by the famous story Pinocchio. 

We made good use of freeze frames, conjured up our own dramatic choreography to convey different parts of the story, and even managed to learn some assigned dance moves to complete in a whole class performance, all in less than an hour! The resulting performance was very impressive, and really showed the journey that Pinocchio travels on throughout the book.

In class, we swapped book recommendations with each other and did lots of reading and sharing our books across the day.
