A HUGE congratulations to everyone who took part in today’s fundraising run! It was amazing to see so many of you at the event! The atmosphere was electric! There were over one thousand children from the local community taking part in a run at the Olympic Park. (I’m sure London Fields had the loudest cheer at the welcome meeting...so well done us!) Nursery and Reception children ran first, followed by Y3 and Y4, and the final race was for Y5 and Y6. Everyone did their utmost best and conquered the gruelling challenge! It was wonderful to see everyone supporting each other, especially when the legs began to feel tired. Thank you to all the families who made today so much fun and so successful! Lots of you had made supporting banners, offered to marshal the event so it could go ahead.... and to those of you who were supplying us with hot chocolate and goodies at the end of the race, we adore you! Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who has donated. The school, along with the generous sponsored gift from ‘Run Kids Run’ has raised a huge sum of money to go towards our playground renovation fund.
