Apollo Music musicians visited Year 1 and 2 this week to perform a selection of classical pieces. The children were introduced to the string section of the orchestra and were able to explore the violin, viola and cello. This reminded the children of how Vivaldi used stringed instruments in his composition The Four Seasons. This is something that they explored in Year 1.
