A Road Safety Project for all!
Over the years, we have had children across every year group, design and and create posters to promote road safety campaigns. Such campaigns actually date all the way back to the early 1960's, with one of the first encouraging people to wear seat belts whilst travelling in cars!
As part of the optional Road Safety Project, children are to think of problems they may have seen around the school and see if they can come up with a campaign to tackle the issues. The campaign is to be presented as posters, banners or even in the form of different media - The more creative the better! Last year, children brought in some amazing posters that they had designed at home. Some children even came up with very unique and catchy slogans!
The only time to do this is outside of school hours, so please feel free to help them if they need it! Completed designs are to be sent with the children for them to deliver it to Koray who should be mainly in Year 2 Banneker Class!
There isn't a deadline for this, but it would be great to receive them throughout the term, so that Koray can send some over to the Hackney Road Safety team!
