Happy Retirement Caroline! 1 April 2022 (by Katherine Gillard (kgillard)) |
Today we said goodbye to our amazing Headteacher, Caroline Tyson.
Today we said goodbye and thank you to Caroline Tyson. Words cannot express how much the school will miss you. You've led us on an amazing journey over the years and you leave behind a truly incredible school- a school that we are extremely proud to belong to. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement and don't forget to come and visit us all- regularly!
As part of Caroline's leaving assembly, Y5 band sang 'One in a Million' (the perfect song!) and the whole school performed a Ghanaian round about an amazing tree that provides so much for lots of communities (another perfect song for Caroline!).
During the assembly, we presented Caroline with some beautiful earrings and a stunning quilt made by Masha, one of our school governors. We also gave Caroline a gorgeous poetry book, full of poems inspired by her. Several Y6 children performed one of the poems brilliantly!
We love you Caroline! Thank you for everything! x
