Year 1 have been creating weaves inspired by the seaside!
As part of Art Week in Year 1, we created our own weaves. We looked at other artists including Monet who was inspired by the seaside so we made sure our weaves were inspired by the seaside too! We used a mixture of materials and chose cool and warm colours that reminded us of the sea, sand and sun setting. Finally we added gems as a way of showing the light reflecting on the sea, just like Monet liked to do with paint.
