Year 3 took a trip to the park in search of inspiration.
Children in Year 3 visited London Fields park and listened carefully to all the different sounds that they could hear. Trains rumbling, children giggly and puddles splashing were just some of the sounds they heard. Back at school, they recorded the sounds on strips of paper (following a verb, adjective, nouns pattern) and then got to work organising and arranging the sounds so their poem could take shape. We can wait to see their final poems!
