Year 2 practice their oracy skills in P4C27 November 2020 (by Catherine Cardy (ccardy)) |
During P4C (Philosophy for Children) Year 2 have been exploring a range of different topics. In the lesson pictured children were challenged to spot the odd one out from a series of images. This was an opportunity for them to draw on their learning in Science about organisms. The children were able to comment on not only the differences they found, but also the commonalities, by referring to their knowledge of living things. This was very impressive and prompted great discussion during our session. It was wonderful to see active listening and excellent turn taking as well.
