Rain at Forest School!21 November 2020 (by Mirjam Vollmann (mvoll)) |
It rained at Forest School this week, but the children had a great time exploring their site and making new discoveries and playing new games. Leaves came to so many good uses- some children made leaf wands, others sorted them by size and colour, some took a very close look with magnifiers and tried to work out which creature had eaten all the holes into them- snails or caterpillars? And some children simply enjoyed throwing armfuls in the air! There were games of hide-and-seek, trees were painted with mud, and a lot of running games were played on this chilly and wet day. The hot chocolate at the end went down a treat!
