We had a fantastic two weeks learning about the Vikings. Near the end of the unit, we thought about the following question: What were settlements in Britain like before the Vikings came? We discussed this with our partner and ordered some pictures We then learnt how settlements changed with the arrival of the Vikings. In groups, we then created our own timelines to show how settlements changed in Britain over time. We thought about the different time periods and whether some of the periods would overlap.
